Formwork Coloumns
Building a large structure requires large foundations and depending on the design so are the supporting coloumns. Engineers usually recommend reinforced concrete coloumns to provide the necessary strength and load bearing specifications. That is where a formworker comes into play. It is absolutely critical that the formworker you have on your construction site has enough experience, knowledge and qualified workers to carry out the engineers plans accurately and quickly. There is no need to spend more money and time than is needed. It is therefore industry standard to ensure the formwork company has enough resources from the builder to encourage these two important elements so as other trades can than work on the structure at the same time hastening the build time and reducing costs. There is only one Brisbane formwork company with over 40 years of family experience within the formwork industry which is VB Form. Owned and operated by Vince Bramanti, the Bramanti's have been constructing in Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich and the Gold coast for over 2 generations.

Cheap Brisbane Formwork Contractors
Originally there have been only a handful of trusted and long standing formwork companies that have competed for work contracts in the region, ensuring quality and build schedules were strictly adhered too. More recently there have been interstate companies from Sydney, Melbourne and even as far away as Hobart venturing into the formwork industry in Brisbane. However with the sudden influx of interstate formwork 'newbies' there have been some nightmare rumours going around within the brisbane construction industry. Some of these rumours include these interstate contractors winning formwork contracts on the cheap and then to prevent making inevitable losses, not pay their employees and constantly hire new staff every week. In some instances some super contractors/ builders have been left high and dry with unfinished work, stalled projects, and disgruntled employees.
Causing unnecessary project delays and inevitably higher overall build cost.
It is advantagous for builders of all sizes to take into account the overall value offering from each contractor; this includes formwork contractors. These companies should provide suitable packages which include material handling, scaffold hire and options for plant and crane hire. Builders should be wary of interstate based companies who sub-contract out to local staff, where their core business 'suspended slab construction' will not be affected by cut and run tactics to make a quick dollar. Builders should therefore ensure that if they are building in Brisbane that their 'cheaper' formwork contractor has a reliable reputation in the city and has a storage yard and constant workforce in Brisbane.
